We are seeking a Senior Payroll Officer/Senior Payroll Analyst to support our centralised payroll function and perform end to end payroll processing using both Aurion and Peoplesoft. This role is based in Brisbane. Responsibilities Running end to end payroll, for 3,500+ across 6 entities Action payroll requests promptly and accurately such as new hires, exits and changes Run fortnightly payroll process, variance checks and reconciliation of EFT Administer setup of new superannuation funds and reconcile payments Reconcile payroll reports fortnightly after each payroll run and monthly Provide mentoring and support to the payroll team Knowledge of relevant legislation Proactively identify opportunities to automate, streamline and simplify payroll processes Experience / Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Payroll, Accounting or similar is desirable 10+ years experience in processing complex end to end payroll 10+ years experience in the EOFY payroll process Experience in Aurion or PeopleSoft, desirable Strong attention to detail Strong problem solving and excel skills Strive for results and process improvement Ability to work both independently and within a team environment Excellent knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation About Us Boeing Defence Australia is shaping the future of aerospace and delivering some of the nation's most important programs for the Australian Defence Force.
