Senior Business Analyst – Payroll Our client, a large organisation within the education industry, is delivering a 5-year program to transform their enterprise systems – and they're seeking a Senior Business Analyst – Payroll to play a key role in the delivery of a new payroll system. This position will focus on the end-to-end analysis and optimisation of payroll processes, ensuring business and technical alignment across HR, finance, and systems teams. Key Responsibilities Analyse, document, and improve payroll business processes and data flows Define requirements and support system configuration for payroll system implementation Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to validate functionality and integrations Prepare user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation Support the data migration team in mapping the legacy data to SAP ERP Systems Bring in the functional expertise in the Finance Payroll toolset that is being implemented where applicable Support testing, change management, and go‑live readiness activities Key Requirements Proven experience as a Business Analyst working on Payroll or HRIS system implementations Strong knowledge of payroll operations, compliance, and award interpretation.
