Exciting Career Opportunity: Payroll Specialist Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Payroll Specialist will be responsible for full-function payroll delivery, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing across the employee lifecycle. Key responsibilities include: End-to-end payroll processing Managing contract updates, new starters, and terminations Ensuring compliance with relevant tax, superannuation, and award obligations Providing advice to employees on pay, policy updates, and entitlements Performing quality control checks and supporting internal audits Attending legislative training and maintaining payroll compliance knowledge Supporting documentation, filing, and reporting functions The Candidate: The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical payroll expertise and a collaborative, proactive approach. You will have: At least 4-5 years' experience in payroll, ideally in a mid-sized or complex organisation Strong knowledge of Modern Awards, tax and super obligations, and payroll legislation Proficiency in Excel and payroll/accounting systems Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills The ability to work independently and contribute as part of a wider team The Perks: Up to $115k+Super (Depending on experience) 1 day WFH Team lunches, birthday celebrations, and awareness days have all helped to build a positive, welcoming working culture.
