THE OPPORTUNITY Reporting to the Managed Services Lead, the Payroll Specialist will deliver high-quality payroll services to a diverse range of clients including: Accurate and timely salary processing for employees in accordance with Award or employment contracts relevant to specific clients Providing guidance and support to Payroll Specialists or onsite client associates Determining operational objectives by studying client business functions, gathering information and/or evaluating output requirements and formats Recommending controls by identifying issues and writing improved procedures to reflect SLA's accurately Writing new / maintaining existing user documentation and providing support / training / Subject Matter Expertise for end users POSITIVES This is a newly created position with a well-established Melbourne-based organisation with a national presence – stability and security of employment are guaranteed. Two of the Managers in the Department collectively have 40+ years of experience in Managed Services – rest assured, you will be surrounded by Payroll Professionals who will set you up to succeed from day one. IDEAL APPLICANTS Payroll Professionals with a solid background in Payroll processing gained from a variety of industry sectors across multiple industrial agreements (Awards, Individual Contracts, EBA's). Bureau experience is not required for this opportunity. It is your "depth" of knowledge around Dayforce's Payroll module (Essential) that will guarantee an interview. Being a newly created position, the business will provide you all the support required to succeed but you will need to bring a highly motivated attitude and the requisite tenacity to drive and facilitate the growth of the division as more new clients come on board.
