This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, is passionate about making a difference, and has a strong background in accounts payable and financial operations. You will play a key role in ensuring payroll is processed accurately and timely, and to assist with payroll‑related duties and enquiries for all Alzheimer's WA employees. Key Responsibilities Process payroll accurately and on schedule. Respond to payroll queries and maintain compliance with policies and legislation. Completion of banking related to Payroll processing. Dealing with any questions and queries from staff. Reconciliation of all Payroll related accounts. Support Finance operations, including Accounts Payable / Receivable when required. Identify process improvements and implement quality initiatives. Prepare reports and monitor KPIs for payroll and finance functions. Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure adherence to Work Health and Safety and organisational policies. Participate in professional development and training activities. Prepares the information for and completes the monthly Business Activity Statement for AWA and related entities. Prepares the Refund of Franking Credit annual submission to the Australian Tax Office. Preparation on annual Fringe Benefits Tax Return for review by the Head of Finance and Operational Performance. About You Demonstrated experience in working as a Payroll Officer in the Not-for-Profit sector. Strong understanding of Wiise, PayCat and electronic bank transfers. Advanced knowledge of SCHADS. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
