Apply today and start making a difference The Role Join our People Services team as an experienced Payroll Officer and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional payroll services In this fast‑paced position, you will manage end‑to‑end payroll for over 3,500 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation, EBAs, and internal policies. Collaborating closely with our HR and Finance teams, you will help drive efficiency and excellence across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Process and reconcile end‑to‑end payroll for a large workforce Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, EBAs, and Awards Maintain accurate employee records and confidentiality Respond to payroll queries promptly and professionally Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits Support continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements Selection Criteria A Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Human Resources, or currently undertaking an undergraduate qualification in one of these fields Demonstrated experience managing payroll for a large organisation Proficiency in SAP SuccessFactors or similar HRIS/payroll systems Strong understanding of payroll legislation, EBAs, and Awards High level of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent organisational and time management skills Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools Commitment to confidentiality and compliance Experience in aged care or community services sector Knowledge of EmpLive systems Why Work at VMCH?
