Public Relations – Account Director / Senior Consultant Honner – Millers Point, New South Wales, Australia Overview We are a fast-growing PR and marketing agency expanding into the APAC region with a focus on Australia, Singapore and HK markets. We are seeking energetic, results‑oriented communications professionals to join our Sydney‑based team. This is an exciting opportunity for senior communications practitioners with a minimum of eight years’ experience who want to work with some of the world’s leading investment managers, banks, asset owners, wealth groups, crypto firms, and fintech innovators across Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong. Ideal Candidate Prior experience at a communications consultancy, preferably having worked with a range of corporate, financial or technology clients. A polished professional with strong financial sector insights and impeccable written and verbal communications skills. Responsibilities This fast‑paced and varied role is ideally suited to a senior communications professional looking to take on new challenges and hone strategic capabilities, team management and client relationship skills. While hands‑on creating and delivering strategic communications programs for clients, you will also contribute to developing best‑practice standards across the agency and help drive new business growth in Australia and across APAC markets. Specific Requirements A genuine interest in and understanding of economics / financial markets. Deep experience working in a communications consultancy, in‑house communications, press office or fast‑paced media environment. Ability to lead and manage client‑service teams, providing senior strategic communications counsel, issues‑management guidance, and overseeing strategy development; strong relationship management and client interaction skills are essential. Strong and flexible writing / communications skills across a range of mediums. Senior media relations experience and ideally current media relationships across financial press. Ability to contribute to new business opportunities, either through building existing client relationships or sourcing and pitching. Foster the growth and development of team members. M&A / transaction experience is a benefit. Media training and language skills a bonus. Relevant tertiary qualifications with a communications or financial / business / economics focus.
