We’re looking for an experienced PR Account Director who thrives in tech, owns strategy, and delivers media outcomes, to become the General Manager of our new Australian branch of our established UK/US B2B tech PR agency. The Role Lead retained tech clients across media relations, strategy, and content Own the relationship : set direction, advise clients, and deliver sharp work Collaborate with the agency founder CEO — no internal politics, no junior bottlenecks Work remotely from anywhere in Australia (we're Brisbane-based, but happy with remote for the right candidate) Australian work rights are essential for this position What's on Offer Up to A$130K + super (permanent) 10% commission on any new clients you originate (New business isn't expected — but if you bring it in, you'll receive a 10% cut of the first-year retainer) Fully flexible hours — no clock-watching or "always-on" culture A tight, smart team where your voice is heard and your time is respected You’ll Succeed If You… Possess a minimum of 6-8 years of PR/communications experience Demonstrate mandatory B2B tech industry PR experience Are confident leading clients and delivering strategy at a senior level Can generate strong media results and write content that actually lands Thrive in lean environments with autonomy, ownership, and no deadweight Bonus Points For Existing media relationships (tech, business, trade) Experience in small agency or freelance environments A calm, strategic approach that puts outcomes over theatrics This is not a role for someone who wants layers of process or a team of juniors.
