Due to continued growth, we’re seeking an experienced 3PL Inventory Manager with strong FMCG experience to take ownership of inventory operations at our Yatala site. This role suits a proactive, curious professional who enjoys problem‑solving, process improvement, and linking inventory accuracy to real‑world warehouse activities. Key Details Yatala, QLD Attractive hourly rate Casual ongoing or 12‑month assignment (w/ a view to permanency) Part‑time option available (3 days/week to start) About the Role Manage inventory accuracy and control across multiple 3PL locations Conduct regular stocktakes, cycle counts, and reconciliations Lead daily problem‑solving and identify root causes of inventory discrepancies Drive continuous improvement in inventory reporting, housekeeping and workflows Connect inventory data with warehouse operations and material flow Partner with 3PL providers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations Produce and analyse inventory reports to identify trends and improvement areas Travel weekly between sites (own transport required) What We’re Looking For Proven experience in inventory management within FMCG, 3PL, warehousing or supply chain Knowledge of batch management, FIFO/FEFO and process mapping Strong WMS and SAP experience (automation systems highly regarded) Skilled in Excel and digital reporting tools Analytical and curious mindset to identify patterns and solve root causes Understanding of warehouse operations and how they impact stock accuracy Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experienced people manager, capable of leading and influencing across sites Adaptable, calm under pressure and solutions‑focused Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle (required for site travel) At Quest Personnel, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities for all and embracing diversity in the workplace.
