ABOUT THE ROLE At Mainfreight we are part of a global yet united team. Based out of our Altona facility (accompanied with a full time on‑site chef), we are looking for a customer service representative with drive, passion, and commitment to join our wonderful team. If you possess a high eye for detail and enjoy the satisfaction of watching something from start to finish, then this is the role for you. The job starts with you and will finish with you. With custom built wharf cartage internal systems and industry systems, there is nothing that cannot be taught. You will learn from people with wide industry knowledge, who will impart very valuable knowledge - willingness to learn is key. Building customer relationships is key, the same goes for building relationships with our brothers and sisters in our internal products within Mainfreight and the team members within our branch. Your day will consist of working with all levels of team members, from operations, administration, drivers & our yard/warehouse team. A positive outlook will get you through the days, you will be surrounded by equally passionate people that will help you stay positive during any challenges.
