Location Your leadership path could take you anywhere. What’s different about Tasmania is our culture and lifestyle. Here, you will be encouraged to be your authentic self, to share your wisdom with our emerging generation of medical doctors, and in doing so, find your purpose. Our remoteness helps drive a culture of invention and human connection, which feels both old‑fashioned and… like the only future worth pursuing. Here in Tasmania, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to breathtaking coastlines, National Parks or award‑winning restaurants or bars. Some people surf in the early mornings and go fly fishing on weekends or take photography classes, write novels, sell preserves at the weekly farmers’ markets, learn to mountain bike. They take part in the community, volunteering and serving on boards. And their spouses and children have similar opportunities to thrive in a quieter, safer, more adventurous place. After a hard day at work, you can get on your bike or put on your boots and “tell it to the mountain” in minutes, not hours. Something is happening here, and you’re invited to be part of it. It’s not where you were born. It’s who you are, and who you want to be. Be Tasmanian. Tasmanian | The quiet pursuit of the extraordinary. Make It Tasmania | Move for a great lifestyle.
