Accounts Payable/Receivable Officer

HiQ has an excellent opportunity for an accounts payable/receivable person to join our small and friendly finance team, to ensure the continued exceptional service in the area of accounts payable and accounts receivable. The position is based at our Prestons Head Office, NSW. Principal Accountabilities Ownership of AP and AR email inboxes Process, verify, and record supplier invoices and ensure timely, policy-compliant payments Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including posting and reconciling accounts receivable/payable data Reconcile supplier statements and AR ledgers, resolving discrepancies and irregularities in collaboration with internal teams and clients Manage credit card transactions and related reconciliations Monitor overdue payments, send reminders, and follow up with customers professionally to ensure timely collection Maintain accurate billing systems, files, and records for AP and AR Assist with month-end close, reporting, and audit preparation Continuously improve payment processes and support strong supplier and customer relationships The successful applicant would ideally possess Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skillAbility to work independently and as part of a small team Experience with Exact Globe or similar mid tiered ERP system is essential 5+ years of experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable Answer phone calls if they overflow Intermediate Excel skills Strong communication skills What we offer Friendly and supportive working environment Competitive salary How to apply If you feel your skills and experience are suitable, please apply using the form, adding your cover letter in the message box and attaching your CV.
