Rehabilitation Consultant - Psychologist / Rehab Counsellor IPAR Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia Overview IPAR is a national occupational rehabilitation provider supporting thousands of people with illness, disability, or injury through workplace rehabilitation, counselling, injury prevention, and employment solutions. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with physical and psychological conditions, fostering their return to health and work. Why Join Us Competitive remuneration with incentive and bonus schemes IPAR's health and wellness program with team activities Star Award reward and recognition for top achievers Cultivated "promote from within" culture supporting career growth Employee Referral Program with monetary incentives Diverse multidisciplinary team Benefits Fitness Passport, travel perks, health insurance discounts, novated leasing, salary packaging, EAP, parental & purchased leave Responsibilities Manage case loads with support from Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks Apply clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes Develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programmes with employers and employees Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals Work across schemes such as workers' compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veterans Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programmes Assist clients with injury or health conditions to achieve return-to-health and work goals Conduct a variety of assessments: initial, ADL, workplace and vocational assessments, reviewing diagnosis, supporting treatment plans, addressing psychosocial barriers, and identifying suitable employment opportunities Qualifications Experience in occupational rehabilitation highly regarded Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences, or Rehabilitation Counselling General or provisional registration with AHPRA, or eligibility for ASORC Associate / Full membership Excellent communication, compassion, empathy, and time-management skills Current NSW driver's licence and access to own car with comprehensive insurance Additional Information IPAR values caring, collaborative and inclusive culture (Great People), a positive impact and good service (Big Hearts), and thoughtful innovation (Bold Ideas).
