We are seeking a passionate and motivated Lighting Career trainee to join our team and build a strong foundation in project sales, quoting, and customer relationship and service. If you’re ready to launch your career with a company that values integrity, innovation, and growth – we want to hear from you What You’ll Do Assisting in the preparation of quotations and estimates for both large-scale and smaller lighting projects. Following up on quotes and estimates to ensure timely responses and actions. Managing incoming quote requests and maintaining a clear follow-up process. Conducting weekly reviews of outstanding quotes and expediting as needed. Building strong relationships with our valued customers. Creating, tracking, and confirming sales orders through our internal systems. Coordinating the production and delivery of sample products as per procedure. Managing sample inventory and allocation for the sales team. Handling and tracking all ‘fast track’ sales items. Offering general sales support and liaising with our national branches. Project managing sales orders from initial quote to final dispatch. Ensuring delivery timelines are met and customers are kept informed. Preparing and processing accurate sales invoices. Answering customer queries and enquiries. Who We Are Looking For Organised, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. An excellent communicator with a customer-first mindset. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Technology minded with the ability to pick up internal systems quickly. A team player who’s happy to pitch in wherever needed. Previous experience in lighting, quoting, or sales support is a bonus, but not required – this is a career cadet role , perfect for someone early in their career who wants to transition into the lighting industry from the electrical services industry.
