Position Overview Within the Data & Digital Group, the Service Management & Performance team is responsible for the provision, support and enhancement of the Bureau of Meteorology’s Service Management tool. This tool is used across the Bureau to manage Technology Incidents, requests and other ITIL‑aligned processes required to manage the Technology environment. Based at the Bureau’s Melbourne Office, the role plays a pivotal part in the day‑to‑day management of the ITSM system, which underpins all Technology Service Operations activities. Working collaboratively within a team environment is essential, as team members collectively support ongoing initiatives and contribute to the successful implementation and management of the Bureau’s new Enterprise Service Management (ESM) platform, Neurons. APS level 6 – $94,563.00/yr - $105,910.00/yr + 15.4% super. Responsibilities Day‑to‑day management of the ITSM system, supporting all Technology Service Operations activities. Develop, install, support, maintain and procure the Bureau’s ITSM technology system (Cherwell and future Neurons by Ivanti). Collaborate with team members on ongoing initiatives and contribute to the successful implementation and management of the ESM platform, Neurons. Report to the ITSM Manager and work closely with all Bureau groups. Qualifications At least 3 years of Cherwell/Neurons system administration support and maintenance experience. Cherwell / Neurons system administrator accreditation. Baseline security clearance and eligibility to obtain and maintain Negative Vetting 1 clearance.
