If you don't see an opportunity in your area, please call or email Responsibilities Assist one to two days per week to keep the Residential Care Home looking its best Garden tidy up, pruning, site rubbish pickup Minor repairs or maintenance, changing light globes BBQ checks, pressure washing paths Re-arranging storerooms, painting and lubricating door locks Your impact Volunteering as a Maintenance Handyperson Volunteer can be a rewarding experience, both for the people you interact with as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. In your daily tasks and routine, you will cross paths with residents interested in what you are doing and who love a chat.
