City of Newcastle is looking for an experienced and professional Senior Pool Compliance Officer who is passionate about public safety and making a meaningful impact on our community to join our Planning and Development Service Unit. As a key member of the Development Compliance team, you’ll lead the delivery of the City of Newcastle’s Swimming Pool Inspection Program, ensuring compliance with the Swimming Pools Act 1992 and related legislation. As the Senior Pool Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for assessing and determining Swimming Pool Certificates of Compliance, investigating complaints, and taking enforcement action where necessary. You’ll also contribute to policy development, stakeholder engagement, and community education initiatives that promote safe, lawful, and well-maintained swimming pools and spas across the Newcastle LGA.
