Child Care OSHC Aide Blacktown City Council is currently looking for three permanent, full‑time OSHC Child Care Aide positions. These roles require working five days per week with split shifts in the morning and afternoon. About Kids' Early Learning Kids’ Early Learning is a childcare business operated by the Council, with 24 childcare and preschool centres, eight out‑of‑school care services and over 70 family daycare educators. The program serves more than 2,000 families across the Blacktown local government area and employs approximately 300 full‑time, part‑time and casual staff. Opportunity Positions are located at Kids' Early Learning Blackett OSHC, Kids' Early Learning Marayong South OSHC, and Kids' Early Learning Willmot OSHC. Responsibilities Planning and implementing a programme of developmentally appropriate activities. Maintaining a high standard of care for the group of children assigned. Consulting with the Coordinator and other staff to provide quality care. Essential Qualifications and Experience Diploma in Community Services (Children’s Services) or equivalent, as required by the Education and Care Services National Law 2010 and Regulations 2018. Completion of Child Protection Course – Identify and respond to children and young people at risk of harm. Current certificate HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid. Current certificate HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Current certificate HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an education and care setting, or Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training certificate meeting the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law 2010 and Regulations 2018. Valid Working with Children Check clearance for paid work. Desirable Qualifications Minimum of 12 months relevant work experience. Current Class C driver’s licence. Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations. Computer literate. Demonstrated commitment to customer service. Ability to work within a team environment. Availability to work flexible hours. Remuneration and Benefits Entry level salary starts at $1,315.70 per week. 35‑hour working week.
