Fleischer Cakes' is seeking passionate Pastry Chefs to join our team in our Malvern, VIC bakery. This full-time role will see you creating delicious cakes, pastries and desserts to delight our customers. As a Pastry Chef , you will be an integral part of our close-knit bakery team, working to uphold our reputation for excellence in the baking industry. What you'll be doing Creating a wide range of high-quality cakes, pastries, and desserts from scratch using traditional recipes and techniques Ensuring all baked goods meet our exacting quality and presentation standards Assisting with inventory management and ordering of ingredients Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop new and innovative baked products Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient work environment Mentoring and training junior Pastry Chefs and Apprentices What we're looking for Formal qualifications in Baking/Patisserie (for Pastry Chef role) or currently undertaking a Pastry Chef Apprenticeship Demonstrated experience in a professional bakery or pastry kitchen environment Excellent attention to detail and ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure Strong problem-solving and creative skills to develop new baked products Excellent time management and organisational abilities Passion for producing high-quality baked goods and a commitment to food safety What we offer At Fleischer Cakes', we pride ourselves on providing a supportive and collaborative work environment.
