Job Summary We are seeking a motivated individual with fixed income experience to join our Portfolio Management team. Our team manages Individually Managed Accounts (IMAs) for over 100 clients with combined assets of over A$400m. Reporting to the Senior Portfolio Manager, you will be accountable for positioning and monitoring fixed income portfolios, ensuring that they remain compliant with individual client mandates. Responsibilities Work with the Senior Portfolio Manager and clients in the establishment of new Portfolio Management Agreements with a primary focus on asset-back and mortgage-backed securities Reconcile client positions and cash balances with custodian records, to ensure accurate and up-to-date internal records Assist with trading activities of the Portfolio Management team, coordinating with Brokers, Traders, and the Operations team Work with the Credit Analysis team and broader group to monitor credit and market risks Assist in the preparation of client reports, performance reviews, and marketing presentations Respond to client inquiries and requests for information, via email and telephone Work within a strong control environment to ensure all activity is in line with company policy and procedure Requirements Broad experience in fixed income markets and specific experience with asset-back and mortgage-backed securities Strong analytical skills and highly attention to details and accuracy Good Microsoft Excel Application knowledge Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal Able to work in a fast-paced environment Self motivated – ability to work under own initiative Please note that all data collected will be treated strictly confidential and used for recruitment purpose only.
