Marine Biomedical Pty Ltd is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Quality Control Laboratory Technician to join our team in Broome, Western Australia. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our innovative patented technology, PearlBone™ through rigorous testing and analysis procedures as we go through final stages of regulatory approval. Australian work rights are required for this position. What you'll be doing Performing a variety of physical, chemical, and microbiological tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to verify they meet quality standards Accurately documenting test results and maintaining detailed records in accordance with quality control protocols Troubleshooting and investigating any quality issues or deviations, and recommending appropriate corrective actions Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our quality control processes and procedures Assisting with the training and supervision of junior laboratory staff as needed Ensuring strict compliance with all relevant regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices What we're looking for Preferred qualifications in Certificate IV, Diploma, Tertiary level in biomedical science, microbiology, nursing or related discipline. 2-3 years of experience working in a quality control laboratory, preferably in the medical or nursing sector Proficiency in operating, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipment and instrumentation to ensure accuracy and performance reliability Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a commitment to maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to effectively identify and resolve quality issues Effective communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams A thorough understanding of quality control principles and good laboratory practices What we offer At Marine Biomedical, we are passionate about developing innovative products that improve people's lives.
