Add expected salary to your profile for insights Newly Created role in a global supply chain organisation Based at our HO in Wetherill Park, ample free parking onsite Supportive and collaborative culture where you can have a huge impact The Opportunity As the Payroll Team Leader, you will lead a team of payroll specialists, champion payroll excellence, and be pivotal in maintaining compliance with Australian and New Zealand legislation. You’ll manage end-to-end payroll processing within a busy and supportive team. The environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative, where attention to detail and initiative are valued. The role requires the ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment. If you thrive in complex payroll environment's with exposure to multiple EBAs and Awards, enjoy coaching others, and want to contribute to a collaborative workplace, this newly created role is designed for you The successful candidate will commence with us in Jan 2026 but happy to accommodate candidates who can join earlier. Day to day you will Oversee and process end-to-end payroll and reconcile weekly payrolls accurately and on time Interpret multiple EBAs and Awards to ensure compliance with allowances, overtime, and penalty rates Ensure adherence to legislative requirements including PAYG, superannuation, leaves, Fair Work Act and EBA entitlements Prepare payroll tax, superannuation, and termination calculations as well as responsible for monthly financial reporting Manage employee movements (new starters, changes, terminations, redundancies) Respond to payroll queries and liaise with internal stakeholders Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors to optimise payroll systems and workflows Manage complex payroll issues and act as the escalation point for team and employee concerns Provide expert payroll advice and training to employees and managers across the organisation Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll efficiency, accuracy, system enhancement and governance About You You’re a hands‑on payroll professional who thrives under pressure and enjoys working with complex payroll structures.
