Payroll Team Leader

People2people are proud to be partnering with a renowned global financial services organisation to recruit an energetic and highly organised Payroll Team Leader. In this role, you’ll take ownership of multiple entities, act as a key point of contact for team members and support the Operations Lead in coordinating day-to-day processing requirements. You will also be responsible for overseeing essential payroll activities and providing guidance to colleagues based in their offshore offices. Day-to-day management of your payroll team Assist HR with training, development, new client proposals and implementation. Be involved in project work enhancing payroll processes End-to-end processing of payroll including PAYG, superannuation, IAS, payroll tax, workers compensation renewals, and termination calculations across Australian states and territories Preparation and participation of regular performance reviews, team meetings and training sessions About you Strong end-to-end payroll experience Experience in high volume payroll processing/management for up to 500 employees Strong understanding of ATO, superannuation and payroll for all Australian states and territories Strong verbal and written skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage and guide offshore offices Experience with Datacom, Horizon & HR3 is a nice to have however not a requirement Exposure to mixed employment types Experience within the shared services industry is desired Why apply?
