Service Delivery Manager – Southern Star Care Location: Mulgrave, VICJob Type: Full-Time About Us Southern Star Care is a dedicated provider of NDIS support services, committed to empowering individuals to live independently and achieve their goals. The Role We are seeking a proactive and organised Service Delivery Manager to join our team. This role will be pivotal in strengthening our compliance frameworks, meeting quality management standards in line with the NDIS, managing the Service Delivery team and building rapport with participants and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Work with the Service Delivery Coordinators, participants, family/carers, relevant support coordinators and other professionals to support the participant’s individual goals. In conjunction with the rostering team and Service Delivery team, ensure rosters are in place and shifts are appropriately covered for planned and unplanned absences, ensuring assigned support workers are the 'right fit' for participants. Ensure staff and client profiles are up to date to create a smooth transition of services. Support, develop, review and update policies, procedures and risk management documentation. Monitor and report on incidents, feedback, and corrective actions to support continuous improvement, including overseeing risk assessments and conducting incident investigations. Ensure alignment with NDIS Practice Standards, NDIS Code of Conduct, and other legislative requirements. Support and educate staff to foster a culture of compliance, safety, and excellence. Undertake internal audits against the accreditation standards related to NDIS and prepare for external audits. Work collaboratively with the Management Team to identify areas for continuous improvement to support quality and compliance. Support investigations, complaints management, and quality improvement initiatives. About You Previous experience as a Service Delivery Manager in the NDIS sector. Experience in quality assurance, compliance or risk management within the NDIS, Aged Care, Community or healthcare sector. Mental Health qualification is highly regarded. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Empathy and a genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities. Ability to offer suggestions, new ideas and step out of the role and be a leader.
