Join to apply for the eCommerce Category Manager role at HEQS Group Smithfield NSW HEQS International Pty Ltd Full Time Graduate Program Level $50000 - $75000 annually The main function of a Category Manager at HEQS is to deliver sales through sourcing an exciting range and mix of product that makes for compelling viewing, and is in line with the HEQS Channel strategy, the category strategy and customer profile to maximise revenues and ensure budgets are met. The category manager will strategically plan the area to maximise programming, web and catalogue opportunities within budgeted, QA and time requirements. The Category Manager is responsible for Revenue, GP%, GP$$, Productivity, Inventory and GMROI and the management of the OTB of the nominated category. The Category Manager works within the Merchandise Team and laissez and interacts with various other internal partners as well as external partners to ensure the success of the category. Skills/Competencies Required Technical knowledge of the category. Strong analytical abilities. Strong Communicator internally and with Strong organisational skills. Ability to work to deadlines. Ability to supervise and manage staff. Can work within a team. Highly Flexible in approach Intermediate Excel and Word literacy. All Standard Operation Procedures/Policies are understood and adhered to. Qualifications Minimum 5 years proven success in retail buying. Behavioural Indicators Ability to be flexible. Be able to work in a very fast paced ever-changing environment with ease. Be able to make decisions quickly and accurately and ensuring that this is then communicated effectively. Be self disciplined enough to work in a relatively relaxed culture, autonomously while being held accountable.
