Senior Lecturer / Associate Professor in Veterinary Pathology Location: Camden, New South Wales; University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Camden (UVTHC) with occasional attendance at the Sydney campus. Employment type: Full-time, continuing position. Salary: Academic C / D $156,103 – $207,069 p.a. + 17% superannuation + loading if registered as a specialist with the NSW Veterinary Practitioner's Board. About The Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor in Veterinary Pathology to join our team of world-class clinical specialists at the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Camden. The role focuses on equine, livestock, wildlife and exotics pathology and complements the small animal and pre‑clinical teaching across both campuses. Coordinate veterinary pathology teaching and training for final year DVM students and expand a residency training programme across both campuses. Collaborate and support selected diagnostic work with internal and external veterinarians. Maintain reputation for academic excellence. Maintain a research profile that meets university expectations and standards, including success in competitive research grants and publications in peer‑reviewed journals. Ensure outstanding teaching and learning outcomes. Coordinate and develop curricula and programme within the school. Engage in high‑quality teaching and learning experiences meeting university expectations. About You PhD and membership or specialist qualification in anatomical pathology. Veterinary Science degree registered to practice in New South Wales. Established track record of publications in research in veterinary pathology. Relevant experience in diagnostic equine, livestock and companion animal pathology. Experience in undergraduate teaching in veterinary pathology. Willingness to undertake the Graduate Certificate in Education Studies (Higher Education) or comparable postgraduate course in teaching and learning. Interest and enthusiasm for equine, production animal and / or wildlife pathology research. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Advanced organisational and time‑management skills. Vaccination for Q fever required.
