About The Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Director to lead acquisition across various high‑profile and critical Australian Defence programs. Working closely with technical engineering teams and support functions, you will be responsible for the on‑time, on‑cost and on‑quality performance of all acquisition projects, within budget and with the desired outcomes aligned to objectives. Drive the acquisition and execution of programs. Manage bids & proposals and identify continuous improvement opportunities. Lead and manage the current National In‑Service Support portfolio, meeting customers’ technical and scheduling needs while achieving financial performance targets. Provide monthly and quarterly reports, maintaining professional relationships with all stakeholders. About You Project Management experience, leading multiple project teams. Knowledge/experience in the Defence industry. EVM understanding and demonstrated application. Experience in managing/delivering scope across the full systems engineering lifecycle; both acquisition and support. Practised reporting capability specifically with financials, schedule, and resourcing. Supplier/sub‑contractor relationship management experience.
