Your Role Assist in Therapy Delivery: Support therapists during sessions by helping children with exercises, play-based activities, and therapy routines. Support Individual Programs: Implement therapy plans designed by Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Speech Pathologists for children with varying needs. Engage with Families: Provide feedback to families and encourage at‑home activities that reinforce therapy goals. Monitor and Report Progress: Observe, document, and communicate children’s responses and progress to the supervising therapist. Administrative Support: Maintain accurate session notes, organize therapy equipment, and manage scheduling tasks. Promote Positive Participation: Create a fun, safe, and motivating environment that supports each child’s confidence and independence. What You’ll Bring Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance , or currently studying for a degree in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Dietetics or Speech Pathology . Experience working with children (preferred but not essential). Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills. Passion for helping children with additional needs achieve their goals. Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively with supervising therapists.
