The Primary Production Coordinator is responsible for fostering collaborative relationships with Hewitt Foods’ third‑party beef processing facilities. The primary focus of this role is the effective monitoring and execution of beef production plans, emphasising strategic scheduling and optimisation to drive operational excellence and ensure high‑quality product delivery. What can you expect day to day? Production Planning & Oversight Execute beef production plans in alignment with operational targets and customer requirements. Analyse customer feedback reports and waste trends specific to beef production to identify improvement opportunities. Monitor daily and weekly beef production schedules to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Quality Assurance & Compliance Uphold Hewitt Foods beef quality standards and ensure compliance with boning specifications and processing requirements. Conduct regular visits and meetings with beef processing plants to monitor product quality. Review customer feedback related to beef products and implement corrective measures as required. Collaborate closely with third‑party beef processing partners to align on business initiatives and operational objectives. Address service discrepancies effectively to maintain strong supplier relationships and drive mutual success. Logistics Support Assist logistics team with stock reports, ordering processes, and outbound capacity optimisation for beef products. Ensure accurate tracking of beef inventory and production outputs. Performance Analytics & Process Improvement Monitor beef production performance metrics and identify areas for operational improvement. Lead or contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. To be successful in this role, you will have: Experience in beef production or meat processing coordination. Knowledge of beef processing operations, boning specifications, and quality assurance practices. Strong communication, relationship‑building, and analytical skills.
