Opportunity We’re looking for our first Sales Development Representative (SDR) — someone responsible for outbound prospecting, developing new markets, and generating new opportunities. This is a ground‑floor role in a fast‑moving Data & AI space. You’ll research ideal accounts, run targeted outbound plays, and book meetings with decision‑makers who’ve never engaged with us before. You’ll work closely with the Head of Sales, sit in on leadership calls, and help build our outbound motion from scratch. If you’re ambitious, motivated, and ready to grow quickly, this is your chance. Key Responsibilities Outbound Prospecting & New Market Development Build and manage a target account list focused on new business opportunities. Execute high‑volume outbound via phone (mainly), email, and social selling. Make 30–50 cold calls per day, leave engaging voicemails, and follow up consistently. Test and refine messaging, scripts, and outreach strategies for maximum impact. Create demand by educating prospects who don’t yet know they need us. Convert “never heard of us” into booked meetings. Relationship Building with New Prospects Act as the initial point of contact representing Boon Solutions in all outbound engagements. Communicate how AI and data solutions address operational and strategic challenges. Manage common objections (e.g., “we’re all set,” “no budget,” “not now”) with confidence and professionalism. Foster long‑term value through consistent follow‑ups and meaningful, curiosity‑driven conversations. Sales Collaboration & Marketing Insights Collaborate with the Sales team to understand key factors contributing to won and lost opportunities. Provide prospect insights to Marketing to help refine messaging and positioning. Engage with delivery consultants to build a clear understanding of Boon Solutions’ capabilities and value propositions. Support seamless handovers when outbound‑sourced opportunities transition into active deals. Required Skills & Qualifications Must‑Haves Proven experience making cold calls and booking meetings. Comfortable making 30+ outbound calls daily and handling rejection. Experience using and maintaining a CRM system. Ability to build and manage your own outbound pipeline. Core Traits Clear communicator — both spoken and written. Driven, curious, and competitive. Research‑focused with strong attention to detail. Personable and engaging — people enjoy talking to you. Personal Fit Self‑starter with strong time‑management skills. Resilient and goal‑oriented. Organised and able to manage multiple leads simultaneously. Team player who shares insights and contributes to collective success. Nice‑to‑Haves Experience selling technology, SaaS, data, or AI solutions.
