Data Analyst – Multiple Roles

About the Role Work with one of the largest Australian companies based in Sydney. Take responsibility for analysing, developing, troubleshooting and documenting data issues. A fine eye for detail and deep understanding of popular data analysis tools, databases and software development are required. Job Description Analyse, profile, and systematically present the data for Business and management team understanding. Research and guide on purchase of data migration software. ETL development and data migration tasks. Interpreting the functional & reporting aspects of data. Present the data to business and the consumers of the data which qualifies the scope and highlights gaps/issues on data from source. Identify patterns and trends in data sets. Research, design and write new procedures; and modify existing ones. Liaise with peers and test analysts to identify and fix issues to ensure compliance with business requirements. Work alongside teams within the business, solution team or the technical team to establish business needs. Document technical specifications and operational procedures for data cleansing. Skills and Experience 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis & Software Development. Solid consulting ability across data profiling/analysis, SQL, and data deduplication/cleansing processes. Strong problem‑solving skills – ability to analyse and critically evaluate gathered information to resolve conflicts, anticipate issues and make priority decisions. Ideally worked within a client‑facing capacity, with interpersonal and communication skills to manage and influence key relationships with stakeholders. Experience evaluating and procuring software. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Qualifications Relevant degree in IT industry. Certification in Relevant Technologies.
