Data Analyst – Multiple Roles

About The Role You will have the opportunity to work with one of the largest companies in Australia based in Sydney. You will be challenged to take responsibility for analysing, developing, troubleshooting, and documenting data issues. To excel in this role you need a fine eye for detail and a deep understanding of popular data analysis tools and databases. The role also calls for extensive knowledge and experience in software development. Job Description Analyze, profile, and systematically present data for the business and management team. Research and guide on purchasing data migration software. Develop ETL and perform data migration tasks. Interpret the functional and reporting aspects of data. Present data to stakeholders, highlighting gaps and issues from the source. Identify patterns and trends in data sets. Research, design, and write new procedures; modify existing ones. Liaise with peers and test analysts to identify and fix issues, ensuring compliance with business requirements. Collaborate with business, solution, and technical teams to establish business needs. Document technical specifications and operational procedures for data cleansing. Skills And Experience 5+ years of experience in data analysis and software development. Strong consulting ability across data profiling/analysis, SQL, and data deduplication/cleaning processes. Strong problem‑solving skills – ability to analyze and evaluate information to resolve conflicts, anticipate issues, and set priorities. Experience in a client‑facing capacity with interpersonal and communication skills to manage stakeholder relationships. Experience evaluating and procuring software. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Qualification Relevant degree in IT. Certification in relevant technologies.
