Create your best future and join Westpac as a Cloud Networks Manager. What’s the role? The Cloud Networks Infrastructure Manager will lead a team of Network Engineers, overseeing the end-to-end design, build, run, and service management of network components across Westpac’s Public Cloud environments (AWS and Azure) and their interconnectivity with on-premises networks. The role is accountable for ensuring all service management SLAs are consistently met, maintaining high service quality and customer satisfaction, and ensuring projects are completed on time and in alignment with standards and compliance requirements. This role provides technical leadership and strategic direction for Cloud Networks at Westpac, driving collaboration with Public Cloud Services and broader infrastructure teams to ensure network stability, security, and seamless project delivery. The Cloud Networks Infrastructure Manager will also champion continuous improvement initiatives and deliver key performance and compliance metrics to management, enhancing overall network efficiency, scalability, and reliability. What do I need? Essential: People leadership skills. Advanced network skills – CCIE level. Cloud Networking Expertise (AWS & Azure). Automation skills and infrastructure as Code. Desirable: Knowledge of container networking. Project management skills. Experience with managing a network in financial services. Security management (policy, zero trust). Why join us?
