Time Attendance Support Officer, Youth Justice

Statewide Time & Attendance Support Officer – Youth Justice (Parramatta) Position Type: Temporary Full Time – Clerk Grade 5/6 (Salary $99,938–$110,271 pa, plus superannuation and annual leave loading) Recruitment Status: This is a targeted recruitment. Preference will be given to candidates who meet the established standards of the role and are of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent, as their lived experience adds valuable perspective to our work with this community. Your role Provide high‑quality support services to the Coordinator Statewide Time & Attendance and the Time & Attendance teams across the Youth Justice system. What You’ll Do Work as part of a team to support T&A teams in Youth Justice centres across NSW, including WFM and MWZ system administration, deadline management, stakeholder prioritisation, project management, report preparation, correspondence, and corporate requirements for staffing and rostering oversight. Respond to Time & Attendance enquiries, escalating or redirecting issues to ensure timely and effective resolution. Recommend, implement, and maintain effective T&A systems and procedures, ensuring compliance with HR, IR, and Award requirements and improving efficiency. Coordinate and provide support services such as arranging travel, meetings, catering, and other hospitality arrangements. Prepare word‑processing and data‑entry services; draft correspondence (letters, memoranda, agenda, briefing notes) in line with departmental style guidelines. Supervise daily staff work, identifying training and development opportunities. What We’re Looking For Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012. In addition to the essential requirements, we seek someone with: Experience using Workforce Management and MWZ systems. Knowledge of relevant Awards and legislation. Extensive experience providing executive and high‑level administrative support and client service.
