About Peppermayo At Peppermayo, we come alive in the PM. From beachside sundown to high‑street downtown — we’re one of Australia’s leading fashion brands with a global focus, shaping trends and defining moments. We’re looking for a Fashion Designer to join our Peppermayo team who is a creative minded and technical designer that will become an integral part of the team. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about designing, loves working collaboratively, understands our brand aesthetic and wants to continue our growth trajectory. Please include your current portfolio showing recent design work and CADs. Responsibilities & Skills Plan and design styles across seasonal collection drops from first concept to launch with a global mindset. Analyse customer behaviour, market demand and fashion shifts to guide design direction. Build mood boards, colour stories and sketches to shape strong collection concepts. Attend fit sessions and refine garments for the right fit and finish. Work closely with production and garment tech teams so samples match brand expectations. Create accurate tech packs and work with garment technicians to bring designs to life. Support fabric and trim sourcing with a focus on cost and product quality. Keep all styles on brief, on time and within cost targets while maintaining Peppermayo standards. Travel to China for development, sampling and production visits when required. Requirements Someone with 2+ years of design experience at a global fashion label. A multitasker who is time efficient and can work within deadlines. Sharp trend awareness with a focus on styles that suit the brand and customer. A team player who is effortless to work with & a guru at communicating. Highly skilled at technical drawings and CADs. Highly skilled in Adobe Illustrator. Someone familiar with grading rules suitable for different styles and fabrics is desirable. Proficient skills to work with Excel, Google Drive. Location New office in Surry Hills and close to central station.
