ABOUT THE ROLE As a Fashion Designer at MESHKI, you’ll play a key role in bringing the brand’s creative vision to life. Working closely with the wider Design, Production and Merchandising teams, you will support the end-to-end design process to ensure our collections remain aligned with MESHKI’s aesthetic and wider market trends. Please ensure your application includes an up-to-date portfolio showcasing your recent design work and CADs. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Develop and design pieces for seasonal collections, from initial research and concept through to final product. Conduct research on market trends, customer behaviour and emerging fashion movements to help inform the design direction. Create mood boards, colour palettes and concept sketches to support the development of cohesive collection stories. Partner with the production and garment tech teams to ensure samples meet MESHKI’s quality and aesthetic standards. Collaborate with merchandising, production and marketing teams to ensure designs align with commercial goals and customer demand. Prepare detailed technical specifications and work closely with garment technicians to translate designs accurately into final garments. Assist with fabric and trim selection, considering quality, cost and suitability. Conduct fittings and support the refinement of designs to ensure strong fit and final finish. Help ensure all designs meet MESHKI’s quality standards, budget parameters and timelines. Support the integration of sustainable design practices and materials where possible. WHAT YOU’LL NEED 3 - 5 years’ experience in Fashion Design, within contemporary or fashion-forward brands. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) and relevant design software. Solid understanding of garment construction and fabric properties. Strong creative eye and ability to interpret trends into commercially on-brand designs. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. High attention to detail and focus on quality and fit.
