Key Responsibilities Part of a newly formed team, you’ll be involved in shaping the way Regional Guards are trained—designing and delivering programs that are practical, scalable, and tailored to the needs of a diverse workforce across the state. Collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to draw out their knowledge and transform it into clear, effective learning solutions. Develop train crew safe working materials and ensure every course meets mandatory regulatory requirements. Consult and guide stakeholders across NSW TrainLink and Transport for NSW, helping them navigate change and build capability in innovative and sustainable ways. Create and develop new training materials that are well-designed, practical, and aligned with workforce needs. Leverage safe working traction, RAP knowledge, and experience in developing role‑specific courses to prepare materials that meet operational needs and regulatory standards. About You To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a strong foundation in adult learning principles and instructional design, with the ability to manage projects end‑to‑end—from task analyses and curriculum design to training aids and assessment systems. Experience required: Proven experience in writing technical content. Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122). Understanding of regulatory requirements, including mapping. Experience in highly industrialised environments. Ability to support complex business change, facilitate diverse groups, and communicate with clarity and precision. Tertiary qualifications in adult education, instructional design, or eLearning (highly regarded). Experience developing role‑specific courses for train crew (preferred).
