About the role Permanent Part Time 0.48 FTE Endeavour College is seeking to appoint a permanent part‑time Workshop Technician working 18 hours per week commencing at the start of School 2026. The primary responsibility of the Workshop Technician is to provide pro‑active practical and administrative support in the Design & Technology (D&T) workshop by maintaining and preparing tools, equipment and materials, assisting with learning area events, and performing activities that support the safe and effective operation of the learning area. While employed on a part‑time basis during term times, the Workshop Technician will also be required to complete the workshop maintenance schedule during school holiday periods. We envision a well‑rounded individual with some experience working within a technical or trade environment, who is passionate about working with students on their journey through secondary education. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced administrative / practical based role, are organised and able to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines and have a focus on process improvement. The successful applicant will have: Current clearance to work with children (Working With Children Check (WWCC)) and Mandatory Notification Training Certificate (RRHAN) Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work to achieve outcomes within required deadlines Well‑developed problem‑solving skills, with strong attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), enabling effective interaction with both adults and students using diplomacy, discretion and tact as required in a professional work environment Good organisational and time management skills Demonstrate some initiative and take responsibility for getting things done Manage highly confidential information with discretion and integrity Able to work either independently as well as part of an effective team, working cooperatively and effectively on tasks that overlap with others areas of responsibility to achieve successful outcomes for the College Motivation and a passion to work with and support young people on their journey through secondary education. Ability and desire to actively support the values and ethos of a Christian school.
