Work type Permanent Full Time Classification Band 7 Commencing at $106,158 pa plus super Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of Care Partners. Foster an inclusive, customer‑first culture focused on results and accountability. Coach, mentor and support staff to achieve their best. Champion health, safety and well‑being initiatives. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with aged care standards, Support at Home program requirements, and relevant legislation. Lead quality improvement initiatives and support audits and accreditation. Support change management and service enhancements. About You The ideal candidate for this role will be a seasoned professional in the Community Care or Aged Care sector, bringing deep knowledge of client packages, funding models and budget management. You are someone who leads dynamic, high‑performing teams with confidence—championing contemporary, people‑centred leadership, driving continuous improvement and fostering a strong safety‑first culture. If you’re passionate about shaping exceptional care experiences and inspiring others to do their best work, we’d love to have you on board. Essential Experience Tertiary qualification (degree or diploma) in human services, social work, nursing or a related field. Significant experience leading or supervising teams in community, aged care or health services. Experience in business planning, budget management and resource allocation. Knowledge of relevant legislation, aged care standards and Support at Home program requirements. Advanced stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills. Ability to drive change and foster a culture of inclusion, accountability and continuous improvement. Working with Children’s Check. Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
