Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects. In this rewarding and challenging role, you will be supporting a high-performing Customer Service team with a focus on conflict resolution, delivering exceptional customer service, cross‑department collaboration to provide and enhance service delivery, and coordination of team priorities. You will service a variety of customers, including fixers, distributors, resellers, builders, homeowners, and specifiers. As a self‑motivated leader reporting to the Branch Manager, you will enjoy the diversity and scope of the role, gaining a deep understanding of our products and processes with exposure to various teams and projects company wide. With vast and continuously evolving learning opportunities, you will be provided with the training and support required to champion the product range and offering. What Will You Do? Working within a collaborative, supportive and driven team environment, you’ll manage and coordinate the daily workflow and priorities of the Customer Service team. You will also: navigate and resolve complex customer enquiries and escalations effectively, efficiently and safely foster a positive work culture by supervising and motivating the Customer Service team, providing clear objectives, guidance, and feedback to ensure smooth operations collaborate with other teams including Sales, Logistics, and Operations, to seamlessly meet customer demands in line with business resources and objectives proactively create sales opportunities, prepare and follow up customer quotes, and support the efforts of our Sales teams and branches across Australia provide internal support and regular feedback to our Sales teams with customer and competitor information accurately work to prevent customer and order escalations whilst proactively seeking ways to enhance the customer experience More About You As a Customer Service professional dedicated to providing an exceptional customer experience, both internally and externally, you will bring: excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and lead a team proven ability to communicate, negotiate and resolve issues effectively and efficiently problem‑solving skills with the ability to deal with ambiguity in resolving complex issues analytical skills with the ability to quickly learn new and custom IT systems high attention to detail and ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously a commitment to the safety and well‑being of yourself and others Why BlueScope As we’re creating strength for the future through our people, products and solutions, BlueScope gives you opportunities to innovate, learn and grow with the business, supported by inclusive leadership and a positive, passionate team.
