Compliance Manager

Act as a subject matter expert on privacy, data governance and technology-related compliance issues Maintain and enhance privacy frameworks, policies and the privacy obligations register Provide advice on technology compliance, including cloud, cybersecurity, digital transformation and data-related initiatives Partner with business and technology teams to assess controls, uplift maturity and support compliance assurance Support investigations into privacy incidents or data breaches and lead remediation planning Lead privacy and technology horizon scanning, monitoring regulatory changes and advising the business on impacts Support the delivery of organisation-wide privacy and cyber awareness training Contribute to building a strong culture of responsibility in relation to data handling and digital risk What type of person will be successful? Tertiary qualifications in law, business, technology, risk or a related field 5–7 years’ experience in privacy, technology compliance, cyber governance or assurance Strong understanding of privacy laws (e.g., APPs), cyber risk, information security or data governance Experience advising stakeholders on regulatory, technology or cyber risk issues Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels A proactive, analytical and collaborative approach with a commitment to protecting customers and the community If this role sounds like the right fit for you, please apply below or contact Toby for a confidential discussion.
