We are looking for a skilled and passionate Pastrycook to join our team full-time. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute creatively to our menu while maintaining our commitment to quality and consistency. About the Role As a Pastrycook, you will play a key role in preparing and baking a wide range of pastries, breads, and specialty products. We value innovation and are seeking someone who can bring fresh ideas, refine recipes, and create seasonal or signature offerings that delight our customers. Key Responsibilities Prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of pastries, breads, and desserts to a high standard. Contribute to recipe development, seasonal specials, and product innovation. Ensure consistent product quality, presentation, and portion control. Manage ingredient preparation, stock rotation, and minimise wastage. Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and food handling in accordance with food safety regulations. Coordinate with front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service and product availability. Support production scheduling to meet daily demand during busy trading periods. Skills and Experience Proven experience as a Pastrycook or Baker in a commercial kitchen or bakery. Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, dough preparation, and baking methods. Ability to innovate and adapt recipes to suit customer preferences and seasonal ingredients. Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure. High attention to detail with a passion for presentation and quality. Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
