We’re seeking a Manager, Student Wellbeing and Inclusion— a visionary leader who combines strategic thinking with genuine empathy to create an environment where students feel supported, connected and confident to succeed. This is more than a management position—it’s a chance to shape the future of student success. You’ll lead highly effective specialist teams delivering counselling, disability inclusion, literacy programs and transition support, ensuring every service reflects our commitment to equity and lifelong learning. As part of the Student Success Directorate, you’ll provide strong leadership, champion inclusive practices and drive innovation across wellbeing and inclusion initiatives. Your leadership will set the tone for a culture valuing collaboration, compassion and continuous improvement. You will: Lead with vision and heart — inspire and support high-performing teams dedicated to student‑centred outcomes. Strategic leadership — design and deliver wellbeing and inclusion services aligned with legislation, government priorities and The Gordon’s strategic plan. Advocate for inclusion — represent The Gordon in key institutional and sector forums, influencing policy and championing student needs. Drive innovation — implement evidence‑based programs and systems enhancing student experience and operational excellence. Manage complexity with care — provide leadership in resolving sensitive student cases ethically and collaboratively. Strategic and solutions‑focused, aligning services with organisational priorities and sector best practice. Skilled communicator who builds trust, engages stakeholders and embraces collaboration. Empathetic and resilient, leading through complexity while supporting staff and students with care and confidence. Strong knowledge of legislation and compliance, balancing regulatory requirements with innovative approaches.
