Now, we’re looking for someone to join our Greenkeeping & Maintenance Team — helping to maintain the high-quality facilities that underpin our success. Whether you’re just starting out and eager to learn the trade, or you’re experienced and ready to share your skills, this is your chance to work outdoors, stay active, and take pride in presenting the very best. About the Role This is a full-time role (38 hours per week, including some weekend work) maintaining three greens (two natural turf and one undercover synthetic) and keeping our surrounds and club facilities in top condition. You’ll be part of a team that directly supports the success of our players and the strong reputation Cabra Bowls holds within the sport. What You’ll Be Doing Greens & Surfaces: Cut, roll, and prepare greens for daily play, roll-ups, pennants, and championship finals. Gardens & Surrounds: Keep banks, gardens, and surrounds neat, tidy, and welcoming. Renovations: Take part in top-dressing, aerating, and fertilising to keep our greens competition-ready. Machinery & Tools: Service and maintain equipment to a high standard. General Maintenance: Help with painting, lighting, minor repairs, and coordinating contractors. Teamwork & Safety: Work alongside a supportive team, following safe work practices at all times. You could be: an apprentice or trainee excited to kickstart a career in greenkeeping. an experienced groundskeeper or tradesperson looking for a rewarding role with variety. someone who simply enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in a job well done.
