About the role As a Payroll Support Officer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll while providing vital administrative support to the Finance team. Working closely with the Payroll Accountant, you will help maintain employee records, process timesheets and assist with compliance requirements under the SCHADS Award and National Employment Standards. From day one, you’ll be encouraged to be yourself and supported to perform at your best Individual uniqueness is respected and integrates diverse perspectives. Your Skills and Experience Approximately 6 months’ experience as a payroll officer with a solid understanding of payroll principles. Understanding of the SCHAD’s Award and ability to interpret awards and employment conditions. Knowledge of National Employment Standards, Long Service Leave, Workers Compensation, Australian Tax Office and Superannuation guarantee legislation and regulations. Working knowledge of MYOB or other payroll systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Understand end‑to‑end payroll process. Ability to maintain confidentiality, accuracy and strong attention to detail. Excellent time management and interpersonal skills. Compliance Checks (NDIS and WWCC).
