As a Senior Technical Officer – Task Management (Data Engineering) , you will be involved in the preparation and amendment of maintenance tasks, maintenance program and aircraft configuration. This will see you updating configuration, tasks (as required) and technical documentation in the maintenance information systems (MIS), Maintenix. Reporting to the Maintenance Program Lead, your main responsibilities will include: Prepare and amend various technical documentation within relevant information systems Prepare and amend the Aircraft and Component configuration Prepare, amend and validate reference items and non-airworthiness changes into the MIS, as required Recommend corrective changes to Qantas and Vendors Amend tasks cards generated from Qantas and Vendor reports Amend Aircraft Maintenance Program baseline tasks within the MIS, as required. Amend aircraft and component maintenance or modification baseline tasks into the MIS, as required. What You Will Bring To The Role Strong knowledge of maintenance instructions, procedures, and their regulatory compliance and structure LAME/AME qualification and experience is considered necessary by the company. Relevant trade and technical experience, or a level of experience assessed as equivalent by the company, will be considered. Experience in working in an approved maintenance organisation Strong computer literacy, including experience with Maintenix Experience with SQL coding, Document management systems and XML/Image editing would be considered as an advantage Strong attention to detail and low error rate Solid verbal and written communication skills, with proven technical writing ability Ability to liaise with stakeholders Ability to prioritise and work on multiple projects concurrently.
