About the Company Quest Events is a leading provider of senior-level business conferences, exhibitions, and training seminars across Australia. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our sales team and oversee marketing initiatives that support our business goals. The Role As Sales and Marketing Manager, your primary focus will be leading and managing our sales operations to drive revenue growth across our events. You will also oversee marketing strategies that enhance our brand presence and support sales objectives. With decision‑making authority over sales targets, pricing, and team performance, you will play a key role in shaping the company's growth and market positioning. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed delegate sales targets Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to our portfolio of business events Make decisions on pricing, target markets and product offerings to maximise revenue Oversee marketing initiatives that support sales goals, including brand development, event promotion, and lead generation Collaborate closely with the marketing team to enhance sales outcomes Mentor and develop sales staff to build a high‑performing, motivated team Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales and marketing plans Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, sponsors and partners Report regularly to senior management on sales performance and marketing effectiveness Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards in sales and marketing activities What We're Looking For Proven experience managing sales teams with a strong track record of driving revenue growth Ability to coordinate with marketing to enhance sales outcomes Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and implement effective sales and marketing plans Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills Commercially minded with experience using CRM and sales management tools Relevant qualifications in business, sales, marketing or related fields are preferred What's On Offer Competitive remuneration of $80,000 Performance‑based bonuses aligned with sales targets Supportive and dynamic work environment with opportunities for career development The chance to work on high‑profile events that connect industry leaders across Australia Who Should Apply Experienced sales managers ready to lead a dynamic sales team and provide direction to marketing efforts aligned with sales goals Professionals with a commercial mindset and passion for driving business growth Self‑motivated leaders eager to contribute to a growing and fast‑paced company Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Sales and Business Development Industries Events Services Ljbffr #J-18808-Ljbffr
