Senior Engineer Middleware System Administrator

Job Description: Australian Citizens With NV1 Clearance residing in Australia only respond The ideal candidate would have eight or more years of experience in system administration on Linux and Windows based systems hosting IBM Middleware suite of products such as WAS, IIB (ACE), MQ Series, ISIM/ISAM, DB2 and Datapower. Candidates must be willing and able to learn technologies they currently lack expertise in. Preference will be given to experienced Datapower developers. Qualifications and Experience: Windows Server / Active Directory administrator One or more of: o IBM Integration Bus (ACE) o MQ Series o Datapower Full stack infrastructure experience Websphere Application Server IBM Security Identity Manager IBM Security Access Manager DB2 Responsibilities Core Responsibilities Under direction of the Operations Manager, your duties will include following: Create/maintain/review ICT documentation technical and operational Installing product patches in Linux and Windows systems Establishment and reset of home portal accounts Support onboarding of new Webservices consumers Provide operational support for IBM Middleware suites including MQ, Message Broker, ISIM/ISAM running Linux and Windows operating systems Deploying MQ, Message Broker/IIB/ACE, WAS and DataPower artefacts in a complex and secured environment Provide automating and scripting application installation and customisation Provide support for PKI Certificate management Training and development to round out skills base with required technologies Provide 24/7 on call support on a roster basis Additional Responsibilities Manage ITIL service management responsibilities including incident management and change management Adhere to Defence and system security policies and constraints Contribute to weekly reporting Provide guidance to junior team members including graduates Education Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field well regarded Other Qualities/Qualifications Good analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a team environment Required Skills: Websphere Incident Management System Administration Onboarding ITIL Windows Server Active Directory Operating Systems Change Management Developers Infrastructure Integration Computer Science Security Linux Windows Education Administration Documentation Science Training Management #J-18808-Ljbffr
