We mainly focus on offering mouth-watering delicious and authentic foods. We also offer a warm friendly dining environment with a modern bar which makes an ideal venue for any of your special occasions. Banks Cafe is seeking applications from experienced and passionate chefs to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate / s will have the following skills and experience : 1- 2 years experiences in a professional kitchen Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong understanding of produce, stock control, culinary techniques and kitchen equipment The ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere Complete all work responsibilities and assignments in a timely manner. Competently cook breakfast, lunch and dinner services Anticipate and attend to the guest’s requirements and desires immediately Demonstrate superior recipe knowledge for every item on the restaurant’s menus Ensure full implementation of HACCP code of practice Maintain a harmonious relationship with other members Maintain high standards and lead by example Key Qualifications & experience Leadership, team management, customer service, outstanding communication skills, self-driven with outstanding managerial skills with minimum of Cert IV in Kitchen Management or higher qualification in the similar stream. As a successful candidate, you will be offered immediate start and on a negotiable salary Candidates with Australian citizens or permanent residency will be preferred.
