With The Westport Club, you'll no longer need to imagine. We're ready for our next Sous Chef to join the team and lead our kitchen across our à la carte restaurant, café and events centre. If you're an established leader with experience in a variety of kitchen environments, this is the role for you. We are one of the highest volume venues in Port Macquarie as we operate 365 days a year and deliver flagship events such as our Christmas buffet and Melbourne Cup luncheon every year. Your culinary expertise will see you shape and guide our current team to provide an outstanding experience to our customers, time after time. Although our venue provides unique experiences every day, on any given day you will be expected to : Assist the Head Chef in the coordination of the operations of our kitchens Provide coaching, guidance and performance management conversations with our team Contribute to the long-term planning of catering at The Westport Club and play a key role in the growth of all outlets Develop and maintain a network of suppliers that provide us with the best ingredients for a great price If you're successful in joining our team, to recognise your excellence we'll be able to provide you with : A 4-day work week Free uniforms Free espresso coffee from our team lounge $200 back on your gym membership or sporting registration annually Up to $1,500 in an educational scholarship to support your continued development Rosters posted 4 weeks in advance Late night penalty rates after 8pm every night of the week If you think you have the skills and expertise to lead our kitchen team at The Westport Club, apply now and see where a career with us can take you #J-18808-Ljbffr
